About Dr. Amir Kazemi
Dr. Amir Kazemi, PT, DPT, MS, OCS, CSCS, is the founder and CEO of Apex Physical Rehabilitation & Wellness and has practiced physical therapy since 1999.
• Education & Academic Experience: Doctor of Physical Therapy, Boston University; Master of Physical Therapy, Old Dominion University; bachelor’s degree in physiological psychology, George Mason University. He also served as adjunct clinical faculty from 2000–2006.
• Clinical Credentials: Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and certified Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) evaluator.
• Clinical Practice: More than 25 years of physical therapy practice with extensive experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, functional assessment, work-related injuries, and physical therapy documentation.
• Licensure: Licensed to practice physical therapy in multiple states, including Texas, West Virginia, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa, and Delaware.
• Military Service: Served in the U.S. Navy and as a physical therapist in the U.S. Army, with a combined 17 years of military service.
