How long is each appointment going to be?
Although every patient is different, our sessions usually last 1 hour to an hour and 15 minutes. The frequency of your weekly appointments will be determined by you and your physical therapist.

Will my insurance cover the cost of treatment?
We are in network with many insurance plans. Insurance can be complicated; therefore, we can contact your insurance carrier and determine your coverage specific to your particular plan. You can also obtain the same information yourself directly from your insurance plan.
What if I do not have insurance?
We offer cash-based at $150 a visit. The number of visits needed will depend on findings at the time of the evaluation.
How do I locate a physical therapist?
You can do a google search. Look at the reviews of the clinic. You can also stop by and visit the facility to become better familiar.
What should I do to prepare for my first appointment?
There are a few things we ask all patients to bring with them on their first visit to our office.
Please go online and fill out our intake and submit online. Completing forms prior to arrival will save you time and get you started faster
Please complete the online registeration and arrive at least 10 minutes early to complete any remaining paperwork so that you can maximize your time in your evaluation. If you intend to use insurance, please bring your insurance card/information. Please bring any referrals, prescriptions, and test results from your referring physician. Please wear comfortable clothing.
What exactly do physical therapists do?
A Physical therapist will examine a patient and then create a recovery plan. They often focus on treatments that reduce the need for surgery and prescriptive drugs. A physical therapist uses a combination of exercise, stretches, hands on techniques, and equipment to restore function and relieve pain.
What office policies should I be aware of?
If you cannot attend your appointment due to illness or another emergency, please notify our clinic at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time.
Is it necessary for my doctor to order/refer me for physical therapy?
Yes and no. A doctor’s order/possibly a referral (depending on the insurance plan) is not always required for physical therapy in Texas. Texas’s Direct Access law allows patients to see a physical therapist without a physician order for up to 30 consecutive calendar days.

Some conditions may take more than 30 days to resolve and some insurance plans require a physical therapy order/referral before covering physical therapy services. Therefore, our policy is that a physical therapy order and possibly a referral (depending on the insurance plan) is recommended. Physical therapy orders and a referral to physical therapy are not the same thing. We always require an order from your physician and sometimes also a referral (depending on the patient insurance) to our facility.
How will I know when I no longer need physical therapy?
Your physical therapist will work with you to set the criteria for discharge. Your Physical Therapist should be able to provide guidance on when it is appropriate to stop attending physical therapy sessions based on your progress, goals, and overall health status. It’s important to listen to your therapist and continue with treatment until they feel you are ready to move on/have achieved the goals you set.
What if I feel too much pain during a session?
If at any time during your physical therapy session you experience increased pain, it’s important to let your therapist know so they can adjust the intensity or technique as necessary. Your therapist will work with you to make sure that treatment is comfortable and effective for you.
How long will it take for me to see results?
Every person’s situation is unique; therefore, the amount of time needed to reach goals varies. With commitment and dedication from both you and your physical therapist, you can expect to start seeing some positive results within a 6-8 sessions. The more positive lifestyle changes you make, the faster your progress will be!
Are there any exercises i can do at home between appointments to help improve my condition?
Yes! Your Physical Therapist may provide specific exercise recommendations for you to try in between visits, which will help speed up your recovery and progress faster toward reaching your goals. it’s important to follow these carefully and always check with your PT before starting a new exercise program
