In addition to being the founder and chief executive officer of Apex Physical Rehabilitation and Wellness, Dr. Amir Kazemi is an experienced clinical educator and practitioner in the field of physical therapy. He has been affiliated with the physical therapy program at Old Dominion University as a clinical professor/adjunct clinical faculty since 2006. He holds a certification as a clinical instructor from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and oversees the Apex clinical education program. This program offers orthopedic clinical rotations for several physical therapy programs in the U.S. He also provides physical therapy consultation and advice to various large organizations.

Service & Awards
Dr. Kazemi has also served our nation in the US navy from 1989-1993; as an aviation machinist mate with VA 176 Thunderbolts aboard the USS Forrestal and VF143 aboard the USS George Washington. He served in the US Naval Reserve and Army National Guard from 1993-2000; while pursuing his education. He was also given a direct Commission in the US Army Reserve, as a physical therapy officer, and served in that capacity from 2000-2006.
